MB – BULLETIN BOARD:

1. ** Homeless man masturbating on Manhattan Ave. recently. —- Nancy G., Manhattan Beach

2. ** In MB make sure you not only curb your wheels but also have a front license plate. They are writing $53 tickets for no front plate. It’s not a fix-it ticket, so if you’re a gambler and take your chances … MB could make a mint off of you writing it over and over. —- Linda Rosen, Manhattan Beach

3. ** Why do kids bother to wear a helmet on their ebikes if they are not going to fasten it? I snapped a pic of a boy riding his bike home after school today. I pulled up behind him on Manhattan Beach Bl at the Sepulveda light going west. He was in the right lane stopped at the light. I noticed his helmet was not latched. —- Dayna L., Manhattan Beach

4. ** Lack of civility is on full display this election season. An anonymous group in Manhattan Beach that sends out emails under the header of “MB Strong,” defends their right to anonymity with claims they would be harassed if their identities were known. —- Kim Brant-Lucich, Manhattan Beach

5. ** Need a babysitter? Hi! I’m Maya Rios; I am a junior at Redondo Union High School, and if anyone is looking for a babysitter, please contact me. I am available anytime during the weekends and anytime after five on weekdays (except Fridays). I am a cheerleader at Redondo Union and have two younger siblings, I have experience with cooking and cleaning, and I have two cats! ( I’m also available for pet sitting). Send me a message if you are interested! Hermosa Beach, CA – My email is mayarios26@icloud.com

6. ** I know where there is a north MB 2 bedroom sand section townhouse that’s available 12/18 on into the first of the year. It’s perfect for families visiting for the holidays or temporary housing for any reason. PM me for photos and details. 310-994-3695 —- Montie Taylor, Manhattan Beach

7. ** I think there is only one quality worse than hardness of heart, and that is softness of head. —- Harland G., Manhattan Beach

8. ** No one dresses as Santa for Halloween. —- Carla H., Manhattan Beach

9. ** The taller the person, the more freaked out they are by people taller than them. —- Denny M., Manhattan Beach

10. ** Where are best onion rings in the South Bay? —- Kathy Shoemaker, Manhattan Beach

11. ** WSJ reported Friday that 92% of Catholic schools reopened in Sept 2020. Per the WSJ, “Today the divergence between Catholic schools and public ones is so great that if all Catholic schools were a state, their 1.6 million students would rank first in the nation across the NAEP reading and math tests.” —- Mary Pierson, Manhattan Beach

12. ** Listening to a lunchtime rally at the high school. While signing the National Anthem, they purposely sang it off-tune, laughed about and then proceeded to make comments and laugh some more as they pretended to try and finish it, which they did not. Instead, they just laughed some more. Very sad, super disrespectful, and quite disgusting that they butchered the Anthem like that, and no adult came correct about it and apologized. —- Melissa Smith, El Segundo

13. ** My name is Andrew, a recent high school graduate currently enrolled in flight school! I grew up in MB and enjoy the community. I am looking to save money for flying as it is very costly. I offer window cleaning services, basic yard work, and cleanup, Basic handyman tasks, moving help, and running errands! Please reach out. 310-896-6151 —- Andrew Lovegren, Manhattan Beach

14. ** Twenty years ago, if you asked someone which of the world’s countries was the most diverse, most equitable and most inclusive, they would have answered “the United States.” Not anymore. What changed? —- Livingston B., Manhattan Beach

15. ** I have recently moved here from New York, and I am confused about all of these “e-bike.” Are there any rules with them? I see a bunch of preteen-teenagers riding them, running through stop signs, avoiding traffics laws, and not wearing any helmets. The worst is them blowing through a stop sign at an intersection while blasting music or on their phone. Someone is going to get seriously hurt. —- Charlie Giovanni, Manhattan Beach

16. ** Hi neighbors, I noticed that the right light next to our garage door was out. I have purple bulbs (they look pink) in October. I went over to remove the burned-out bulb, only to notice that there was no bulb. I checked our ring camera and found the thief who took it at around 7:20 PM on Friday. —- Mara Mc Phee, Manhattan Beach

17. ** MB Weekly. A public service. Thank you. —- Suzanne Hadley, Manhattan Beach

18. ** It’s Tuesday at 8.30 pm, and we have seen a coyote walking around the streets outside Lafayette Court and the entrance to the park/football pitches. —- Martin Gavigan, Manhattan Beach

19. ** Going to Venice or Santa Monica now requires a Hazmat suit. Trust me. —- Sherri M., Manhattan Beach

20. ** Perhaps you ill helicopter parents might want to advise your pathetic kids that when they choose an action, they choose the consequences of that action. —- Clay T., Manhattan Beach
